CLIENT STORY
Website migration from Wix to a self-managed Next.js platform
We moved our own website from Wix to a modern Next.js platform with a bilingual (LT/EN) structure, structured data and custom content management – so SEO and performance stay in our own hands.

Context
datainnovations.lt ran on the Wix platform. It looked tidy, but as our SEO and content needs grew, we started to miss technical control.
Challenges
- Limited technical SEO control – no freedom to manage structured data, canonical URLs and bilingual (hreflang) markup.
- Platform lock-in – content structure and performance were bound by Wix's limits.
- Bilingual support – we needed a full LT/EN version with clean URLs, not a shallow translation.
- Freedom to scale – we wanted to build new page types (services, product, blog) ourselves, without platform limits.
The solution
We rebuilt the website from the ground up on Next.js and moved it to self-hosted infrastructure. We kept the old URLs (slugs) so accumulated SEO value would not be lost.
What we delivered
- Bilingual structure (LT/EN) with `hreflang` and canonical URLs.
- Structured data (JSON-LD) – organisation, service, FAQ and breadcrumb schemas.
- Custom content management system – edit services, blog and settings without a developer.
- SEO foundations – `sitemap.xml`, RSS, meta and Open Graph markup.
- Full control of code and performance – the site no longer depends on an external platform's limits.
The project is also a real example of our website development, SEO and software development capabilities.
